A new book by Paul Rodney Turner, the Food Yogi
Who would have ever thought that an apple could hold the key to the secrets of the universe and our existence?
Vedic mathematician and sacred geometrician, Jain 108 explains: “Our energetic body forms a torus shape; planet Earth is energetically a torus, and a perfect apple is also a torus. All tori are formed by a rotating closed curve and the most classical form is the ring-shaped doughnut.”
Jain proposes that the secret to understanding the torus connection begins with the fetus in the womb. “Before any of the limbs have developed, the human form is essentially shaped like a tube torus doughnut, illustrating clearly that the human body is based on the principle of energy in – energy out. The torus is the ultimate geometrical shape – expressing perfection in balance and efficiency,” he explains.
Like all spiritual traditions, Jain suggests that complete knowledge can only be obtained by turning inwards to access our core, as illustrated by the turning in of the torus-like apple. “Since ancient times the apple has symbolized the science of immortality, ‘Les pomme bleue’. In French the word ‘pomme’ comes from ‘op om,’ or sun ball. The word ‘apple’ also denotes ‘eye’, ‘stone’ or anything round. The phrase: ‘You are the apple of my eye,’ therefore, has deep meaning, suggesting that in the center of our energetic torus is the self (eye).” It is also interesting to note that Adam and Eve were not allowed to eat the “forbidden fruit,” suggesting to many sacred geometricians that the ruling Christian elite who compiled the teachings of the Bible did not want the common people to know of the apple’s hidden knowledge of our higher self.
Sacred geometrician and health researcher, Don Tolman offers that if we could reduce all the knowledge of our body and the world around us, it would be: “Everything is a tube.” Our body and everything in it is basically tube-like. “Sickness is a result of blockages within ‘tubes.’” He says. This “tube” concept is just one of the many mysteries revealed within the torus-like apple.
Slicing the apple in half reveals another feature of its mystical nature – the pentagonal arrangement of seeds. Tolman explains that the “pulsating rhythm of living growth follows the pattern of pentagonal symmetry,” and is most perfectly expressed in the golden measure or the divine proportion (phi) — a relationship between a small part and a large part of any whole, and mathematically expressed as the ratio of 1 to the irrational number 1.618033… into infinity. In the simplest terms, the small part of a divine proportion is a scale model of the large part, which is a scale model of the whole.
The golden spiral is another aspect of phi’s transcendental character and can be seen all throughout nature, including the nautilus shell, ram horn, butterfly wings, tornadoes, whirlpools, ocean waves, spiraled galaxies and in the movements of birds, bees and schools of fish. Thousands of plant species exhibit the golden measure’s proportional spacing in the distribution of their seeds and leaves in what is also known as the Fibonacci sequence. Indeed, even the roots of plants follow the phi ratio of the Fibonacci sequence and most profoundly it can be seen in the distances between the planets within our solar system.
So what does this have to do with health? Well, as it turns out, the human body also perfectly expresses this same divine proportion. “The body begins its existence in the spiral pattern of an embryo and when it has matured the body exhibits the phi proportion in the primary relationship of its parts,” explains Tolman.
Indeed, even our DNA resonates to phi. Our DNA is composed of two 3D spirals. Sacred geometrician Stephen Skinner explains that the geometry that governs these spirals can best be seen if you look vertically down them. “What you will see is a structure that is reminiscent of phi, a series of double pentagons that make up the composite axial view of the DNA double coil. Phi is closely related to ‘fiveness’ and it is integral to the construction of the pentagon (5 sided),” explains Skinner. In other words, the pentacle, which is based on the pentagon, is in perfect phi ratio, and the external torus-shape and internal pentacle arrangement of the “forbidden fruit’s” seeds reveal something important about our true nature.
Torus
The Torus is Nature’s perfect pattern for evolving life at every scale. This doughnut-shaped energy vortex can be seen everywhere from atoms to galaxies and beyond. Indeed, it appears that the torus is nature’s way of creating and sustaining all forms of life. Growing awareness of this amazing pattern is advancing “new energy” technologies and helping scientist to better understand the nature of the “unified field.
Director of the THRIVE documentary, Foster Gamble says: “Looking back on almost half a century of research, including thousands of books, films, interviews with experts from diverse fields, if I were to pick one common denominator to all the facets of my quest, it would be the TORUS, the fundamental energy pattern that invites our alignment at every level of our existence for us to survive and thrive.”
The torus is an energy dynamic that looks like a doughnut, wherein the energy flows in through one end, circulates around the center in a perfect Phi spiral and then exits out the other side. This same energy flow can be seen in atoms, cells, seeds, flowers, trees, animals, humans, hurricanes, planets, suns, galaxies and even the cosmos as a whole.
Scientist and philosopher, Arthur Young, explained that a torus is the only energy pattern or dynamic that can sustain itself for it is made out of the same substance as its surroundings – like a tornado.
Each of us is a torus – our bodies covered with a continuous surface or skin like a tube with a hole at both ends (mouth and anus), while, like the Earth, we are also surrounded by our own toroidal electro-magnetic field with energies flowing from North to South-pole and back through the center of the planet.
While each individual’s torus is distinct, it is also open and therefore connected to every other torus in a continuous ocean of infinite energy.
Although this torus energy flow is invisible to our naked eye, by scattering iron filings loosely around a magnet you can witness the toroidal shape of this magnetic energy.
It is for these reasons that perfect health is only achieved when we satisfy the bodies yearning for balance, as perfectly expressed in phi (‘fiveness’), by eating whole fruits and vegetables that naturally resonate to phi and arranging our lives in such a way that we honor and connect with each one of the five material elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether).
Perfect health therefore can be as simple as embracing five key activities:
- EARTH: Eating mostly whole foods or fruits and vegetables in their most natural state. At least 51% of your diet. Regularly touching the ground with your feet. Gardening;
- WATER: Drinking mineral-rich waters, preferably sourced from a local spring. Staying hydrated. Drinking at least 2 litres of pure alkaline water daily;
- FIRE: Rising early and gazing directly at the rising sun[1], or at least making sure to get 15-20 minutes of direct sun exposure on our skin on a daily basis;
- AIR: Increasing the aerobic activity of your body through stress-less exercise like yoga or Tai Chi;
- ETHER: Surrounding yourself with positive sound vibration and practicing daily positive affirmations.
Capture your birthday, name and secret wish in a Unique Geometric Signature (SOUL YANTRA)
A Soul Yantra is a unique contribution to ancient sigil traditions and a new genre of modern art. Like the traditional Yantras and Talismans, a Soul Yantra is also based on the sciences of numerology, magic squares, geometry, geomancy and astrology. However, in this case, the encoded data is not a call to some Arch Angel, but is representative of you.
By using a person’s name and time of birth, and colouring the resulting geometry according to astrology, the Soul Yantra becomes completely unique. In the same way that numerology can encode a person’s character and aptitudes in numbers, the Soul Yantra does through geometry. Your Soul Yantra literally captures your essence in a harmonic geometric pattern. It is essentially your inner spirit captured in art.
Debra
This is a really wonderful article on the sacred geometry in foods, and the deeper meaning between eating the right foods. I have to show this to my girlfriend ASAP, I can tell she will love the book.
Thank you Debra H.
