I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately about healing and the quantum physics connection. A couple of weeks back, I attended a talk by ADAM, the famous young dream healer from Vancouver. Adam was in New York for one day to give a presentation and a group healing at the Airport Sheraton in Newark. 600 people packed the place, and it was a very interesting experience.
What I find unique about ADAM, aside from the fact that he has hundreds of testimonials from people from all over the world, is that he is presenting a solid scientific basis to what he and others are experiencing. The academic theories of quantum physics come to life with his accounts of his direct experience of the interconnectedness we all share. ADAM is also pursuing a Master’s degree in molecular biology to add even more credibility to this amazing young man’s story.
“In recent years, I’ve discovered remarkable books that each uniquely illuminate the mysteries of our world, enhancing our understanding of the interconnected energy that surrounds us.” What inspired me most about Adam’s presentation is his constant reference to the power of intention. It is something we have all heard about in one way or another, from reading “The Secret” or even Napoleon Hill’s classic, “Think and Grow Rich.” However, I have recently come across Lynne McTaggart’s book, “The Intention Experiment,” and am finding it very impressive. If you want to explore the real science behind “The Secret,” look no further. This book has it all.
Prior to finding this book, I had read others like “The Holographic Universe” by Michael Talbot, “The Golden Ratio” by Mario Livio, “The Way of Energy” by Master Lam Kam Chuen, and “The Adventure of Self Discovery” by Stanislav Grof. In their own unique way, they bring light to understanding the beauty of the world we live in and the nature of mind and spirit and the energy field that connects us all.

| Paul, as a 20-year-old monk. |
During my 20s and 30s, some of you might know that for 14 years, I was a celibate monk. It was a time for deep inner healing and reflection. Looking back now, I am amazed that at such a young age, I was able to have such discipline. I guess it was a continuation of something I started in a past life. In any case, for some reason, it felt right at the time, and my soul needed it. That experience changed my life forever.
During those “meditative years,” I absorbed myself in the ancient teachings of the Vedas. One book in particular, The Srimad Bhagavatam, completely changed my worldview and set the framework for the rest of my life. If you have never read or even heard about this book, I strongly suggest you take a look. It is a Sanskrit classic and is considered to be the “cream” of the Vedas. The Srimad Bhagavatam gives the complete picture of this world and the world beyond. It is considered the postgraduate study of the Bhagavad-Gita, which I know most people have heard about.
Anyway, since my first adventure into spirituality when I left home to live in the mountains, I have had a passion for understanding why. And every day, as I grow wiser, I feel that I am getting more clarity on what this world is all about. Each one of us will go through life experiencing the world in our unique way. No two people will have the same experience, and no two people will ever have the same conclusion. Even if only slightly, the “flavor” will always be different from one person to the next. And there lies one of the fundamental beauties of this universe. Yes, we are all connected; yes, we all emanate from the same source; yes, we are all ultimately heading in the same direction, but amazingly, we are all still absolutely unique individuals.
“The tapestry of individualism enriches our life experiences, allowing each unique perspective to contribute to the collective beauty of our interconnected existence.”
“Love is essential to our being; share it generously today, trusting that it will return to you manifold, strengthening the bonds that connect us all.”
My new personal definition statement is:
I am a creative, mysterious, and eclectic soul with a passion for understanding the life experience, the “field” that connects us all, and the summon bonum that makes it all possible.
