The Inner Artist (POEM)

The Inner Artist
By Paul Turner
(6/2/2011 Sydney, Australia)
The artists’ quest to explore the heart,
To learn of Self – sets them apart,
From the fodder of public and depravity,
Who wallow in arcades of debauchery.
Surrendering their souls to the noble truth,
That life is for expressing our eternal youth –
The Child within that yearns for love,
And the reassuring hand of the Lord above.
Carefree and innocent, they find their song,
Convinced in mind that nothing can go wrong,
With their chins held high and a confident gait,
They pursue their path and so meditate –
On the Higher dimensions of the human psyche,
The world within where all souls are alike,
Where every word is a song and every step a dance,
And loving service is the currency of romance.
‘tis the artists that reveals heaven on earth,
by the stroke of their pen and the nature of Self worth,
Without their grace – humanity would despair,
For the artistic heart is a jewel so rare.

Thank you for your wonderful artistic expression….
I bet you could find a tune for that also…
"He is the ability in man..
    carries what we have
    and provides what we lack"
    fortunately for us
