There’s a divine maiden called Janaki, aka, Julianne — the spunky,
who leaves trails of gold dust in her wake,
for if you ever get to meet her, you’ll praise her like the geeta,
and reminisce it like a hot-cross bun bake.
Loyal and kind, with a brilliant mind,
and a heart filled with pools of gold,
for if you’ve ever need a hand, or have a head full of sand,
Julianne is the one to be so bold…
And straighten out your “bent” with her compassion heaven-sent,
and her logic fine-tuned and precise,
Very soon you’ll be dancing, while ponies are prancing,
and pouring cold drinks over glasses of ice.
Kicking your heels in the air, without a bloody care,
you’ll feel loved and at peace in her embrace,
This lady so fine, like a well matured wine,
will put the softest shine on your face,
I am so proud to say, and thank the Gods on this day,
that she is my sister — so sweet and cool,
like a waterfall in spring — a rainbow does she bring,
to her brother, who is sometimes a fool.
For he forgets to appreciate, and therefore alleviate,
The gross imbalance in service between the two,
But in his heart of hearts, he does long to take part,
in a symphony of love and gratitude.
But he knows her so well, that she’s patient and swell,
like a mother cow as she offers her milk,
to her calf and children, and anyone else sullen,
for her love is as smooth as silk…
As it wraps one and all, in her motherly shawl,
refined fabric, woven in patterns divine,
Julianne will love you, like droplets of morning dew,
as they saturate the walls of your mind,
Washing them clean of pain, and anything profane,
revealing the essence of who you really are,
this moon goddess shines bright, on the darkest of nights,
overwhelming every other heavenly star.
So I boldly declare, without a hesitation or care,
that Julianne is one to get to know,
for your life will be blessed, like a white wedding dress,
on the happiest day to tie a bow
As pink flowers pour down, dispelling all sadness and frowns,
and the celebrations spill out into the hall,
My sister, Janaki, a pony in Chinese astrology,
Will bring joy and laughter to all.
I love you
